2nd International Conference on Technology and Innovation in Southeast Europe
«The Future of Digital Health, Today»
Recognizing the great acceptance and positive response to the 1st International Southeast Europe Technology and Innovation Conference on Smart Cities held in April 2021, the Cisco International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills in Thessaloniki (DT&S), committed since its inception to advancing digital transformation, innovation, and the adoption of new technology solutions across all facets of life and the economy, is organizing the 2nd International Conference on Technology and Innovation in Southeast Europe. The conference will focus on “The Future of Digital Health Today” and will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024.
DT&S is spearheading the organization of the 2nd International Conference to position it as a landmark event for the city. Combined with the Center’s numerous activities, this initiative aims to contribute to Thessaloniki’s outward growth, aspiring to establish the city as a hub for Innovation and Technology in the Balkans and Southeast Europe.
Aligned with the European Union’s strategy for the digital transformation of health and skill enhancement, the 2nd International Conference will center on pivotal elements influencing advancements in eHealth and telemedicine. Thought leaders will discuss the hurdles and achievements of digital transformation and explore technological progressions and innovations poised for adoption in the upcoming years. Public and private healthcare providers from Greece and Southeast Europe will share strategies they are executing and objectives they aim to achieve. Simultaneously, industry corporations will exhibit their technological capabilities and best practices through their project implementations. With its insightful presentations, significant announcements, and strategic meetings, the 2nd Southeast Europe International Conference on Technology and Innovation will serve as a nexus for inspiration, networking, dialogue, and preparation, focusing on the imminent future for “the future of digital health, today”.
More specifically, participating invitees include: The Leadership of the Ministry of Health of Greece and SE European countries, the Minister of Digital Governance, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Health Region Administrators, Hospital Administrators, Social Security e-Government, Information Society, representatives of Local Authorities and Private Companies.
