2nd International Conference on Technology and Innovation in Southeast Europe

«The Future of Digital Health, Today»

Recognizing the great acceptance and positive response to the 1st International Southeast Europe Technology and Innovation Conference on Smart Cities held in April 2021, the Cisco International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills in Thessaloniki (DT&S), committed since its inception to advancing digital transformation, innovation, and the adoption of new technology solutions across all facets of life and the economy, is organizing the 2nd International Conference on Technology and Innovation in Southeast Europe. The conference will focus on “The Future of Digital Health Today” and will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024.

DT&S is spearheading the organization of the 2nd International Conference to position it as a landmark event for the city. Combined with the Center’s numerous activities, this initiative aims to contribute to Thessaloniki’s outward growth, aspiring to establish the city as a hub for Innovation and Technology in the Balkans and Southeast Europe.

Aligned with the European Union’s strategy for the digital transformation of health and skill enhancement, the 2nd International Conference will center on pivotal elements influencing advancements in eHealth and telemedicine. Thought leaders will discuss the hurdles and achievements of digital transformation and explore technological progressions and innovations poised for adoption in the upcoming years. Public and private healthcare providers from Greece and Southeast Europe will share strategies they are executing and objectives they aim to achieve. Simultaneously, industry corporations will exhibit their technological capabilities and best practices through their project implementations. With its insightful presentations, significant announcements, and strategic meetings, the 2nd Southeast Europe International Conference on Technology and Innovation will serve as a nexus for inspiration, networking, dialogue, and preparation, focusing on the imminent future for “the future of digital health, today”.

More specifically, participating invitees include: The Leadership of the Ministry of Health of Greece and SE European countries, the Minister of Digital Governance, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Health Region Administrators, Hospital Administrators, Social Security e-Government, Information Society, representatives of Local Authorities and Private Companies.

CiscoΟ Αντώνης Τσιμπούκης είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Cisco στην Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο, τη Μάλτα και τα Βαλκάνια, έχοντας υπό την ηγεσία του, από τον Αύγουστο του 2023, τη Σερβία, τη Βουλγαρία, την Αλβανία, τη Βόρεια Μακεδονία, τη Βοσνία-Ερζεγοβίνη και το Κόσοβο. Ξεκίνησε τη συνεργασία του με την Cisco τον Ιανουάριο του 1998, έχοντας αρχικά τη θέση του υπεύθυνου πωλήσεων για πελάτες του ιδιωτικού και δημόσιου τομέα. Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Cisco – Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Balkans

Antonis Tsiboukis serves as the Managing Director for Cisco across Greece, Cyprus, Malta, and the Balkans, inclusive of Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Kosovo, since August 2023.

He started his tenure at Cisco in January 1998 as an Account Manager, managing sales for corporate and government clients. In 2001, he moved into supervisory positions managing corporate and public sector sales teams, as well as service provider sales teams. He subsequently became Operations Director for two years, overseeing the Enterprise Networking Architecture in the Mediterranean region.

In August 2011, he was appointed as General Manager of Cisco in Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. His portfolio expanded in 2018 when he assumed the Managing Director role for Cisco in Greece, Portugal Cyprus and Malta. Antonis Tsiboukis professional trajectory includes a tenure at Algosystems
S.A., one of Greece foremost providers of integrated solutions. He managed the company's corporate and service provider customers from 1994 onwards.

On the academic front, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a Master & degree in Microelectronics and Information Engineering (MSc), from Liverpool’s John Moores University, in

Agostino Santoni, Vice President, Cisco South Europe

Agostino Santoni
Vice President, Cisco South Europe

Agostino Santoni is the Vice President of Cisco Southern Europe. He took the role in November 2020 and is responsible for Cisco business in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and from August 2024 he also covers Austria, CEE countries and Balkans. Agostino brings a wealth of experience from 25 years in the Italian IT industry, managing P&L operations across several technology markets.

Previously, Agostino covered the role of General Manager of Cisco Italy from the end of 2012 until March 2021. He joined Cisco from SAP, where he was Italy Managing Director from 2009 to 2012. He started his professional career in Compaq Computer where, following the merger with HP, he held roles of increasing responsibility for the Italian branch of HP and for the parent company up to the position of Vice President Enterprise Sales Director of HP Italy. On top of his Cisco position, Agostino was also President of Assinform (the Italian Association for the Information Technology) from 2014 to 2017, and from 2022 to May 2024, Vice President of Confindustria (the main association representing manufacturing and service companies in Italy) with responsibility for Digital. Building inclusive and innovative environments in which individuals and teams feel engaged and can thrive is a key quality that characterizes Agostino’s leadership style in the large teams he has led.

In Italy Agostino is a member of the advisory board for the B7 (Business Federations of the Group of Seven) a task force built by Confindustria in conjunction with the Italian Presidency of the G7, the most important inter-governmental forum that brings together the main industrialized democracies of the world. The B7 engagement Group reserved for the business world, aims to formulate policy recommendations on the priorities of the global economic agenda to be addressed to the Presidency of the G7 and the main international organizations and institutions. He is also a Member on the Board of Trustees of the Cisco Foundation.

Εντάχθηκα στη Cisco το 2007 ως Επικεφαλής των Ομάδων Εσωτερικών Πωλήσεων και Διαχείρισης Συνεργατών για Ελλάδα, Κύπρο, Μάλτα και Ισραήλ. Από το 2013 έως το 2022, ήμουν Υπεύθυνος Πωλήσεων Συμβολαίων Υποστήριξης και Professional Services, αναπτύσσοντας τις αγορές σε Ελλάδα, Κύπρο και Μάλτα. I joined Cisco in 2007 as a Manager of the Virtual Sales & Partner Teams for Greece, Cyprus, Malta & Israel. Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1962. Dimitris Dafnis, Chairman & CEO Cosmos Business Systems

He is born in Athens, Greece in 1962.
He received his MSc in Survey Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, EMP) with honours in 1988. He took lessons in distance learning MBA course in 1991/2. Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (ΤΕΕ), since 1988.

He established Microland Computers ( SA 1984 and AEBE in 1986), an IT company, during his studies in the Technical University. He became the CEO of Microland Computers SA since then and in 1999 the company was listed in Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) through IPO.

He sold his shares in 2000, and acquired the shares of Cosmos Computers, then Cosmos Business Systems SA (CBS AEBE), along with Vodafone SA and Info quest SA (listed in ASE- IT and Telecom companies) , where he became Chairman of the Board and CEO. From December 2023 is the sole shareholder of the Group (Cosmos Business, Cosmos Consulting, CBS IT Systems Cyprus and CBS-LAN Cyber Security). The technology group has 300 employees and 65 M € in 2023.

He is co-founding member since 1996 and elected member, 2005-2007, of the board in Association of Information Technology and Communication Enterprises (SEPE) of Greece. He served also as elected member of the Discipline Committee of the Association, 1996 until today. He also participates in Hellenic Industrial Association (SEV) , the Cyprus Association of Industrial and Commerce ( OEB) , and the Military Equipment Suppliers Association (ΣΕΚΠΥ).

Ο Γεώργιος Κούκουλας έχει Μεταπτυχιακό στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο (Ψυχολογία και ΜΜΕ) και έχει σπουδάσει Διεθνών και Ευρωπαϊκών Σπουδών στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο. Georgios Koukoulas holds Master’s degree at Panteion University (Psychology and Media) and studied International and European Studies at Panteion University. Since 2002 he has been serving the 2nd Regional Health Authority of Piraeus and Aegean Islands. In 2010 he took over duties as the Head of Quality Improvement and Quality Control Department. He participated, as Project Manager, in the implementation of “National Telemedicine Network (EDIT) Ι, ΙΙ and ΙΙΙ. Regarding EDIT IV, he is an active member of the Expert Committee. From 2016 until today he is responsible for the operational function of “National Telemedicine Network (EDIT) and the use of Community Resources.
Ευθύμιος Χατζηθεόκλητος, Αντιδήμαρχος Κοινωνικής Πολιτικής, Αλληλεγγύης και Πρόνοιας

Γεννήθηκε το 1953.
Σπούδασε Ιατρική στο ΑΠΘ και είναι Διδάκτωρ του ίδιου Πανεπιστημίου.

Εξειδικεύτηκε στη χειρουργική του παχέος εντέρου στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Μάντσεστερ  και στη χειρουργική του παγκρέατος  στη Βέρνη.

Το 2003 ανέλαβε τη Διεύθυνση του χειρουργικού τμήματος του Νοσοκομείου Αγ. Δημήτριος.

Από το 2014 δραστηριοποιείται στο Ιατρικό Διαβαλκανικό ως Διευθυντής της Γ΄ Χειρουργικής Κλινικής και υπεύθυνος της Μονάδας Παγκρέατος.

Διετέλεσε πρόεδρος της Χειρουργικής εταιρείας Βορείου Ελλάδος και της Ελληνικής Χειρουργικής εταιρείας Πεπτικού.

Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2024 είναι Αντιδήμαρχος Κοινωνικής Πολιτικής, Αλληλεγγύης και Πρόνοιας του Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης.

Haralampos Karanikas is an Assistant Professor (Medical Informatics and eHealth systems) at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, University of Thessaly. He is member of the National Committee for the implementation of protocols and monitoring of pharmaceutical expenditure, under the authority of the Greek Ministry of Health. eHealth consultant in Athens Medical Society, member of the team that develops the prescription eProtocols integrated in the Greek national electronic prescription system and General Secretary of the Greek Society of eHealth Services and Education (EEMEPY). Member of the Board of HL7 Hellas. Finally, as of September 2023, he is a Consultant of the World Health Organization Europe Regional Office for Quality and Safety of Health Services.

He is actively involved in eHealth and Health Information Management as a focal research area. His research interests include Health Care systems, Telehealth, Patient Registries, Medical Prescription Protocols, ePrescription, Electronic Health Records, health big data, Ontologies, data and text mining. For two and a half years he was a special IT advisor to the Ministry of Health, scientific lead for the implementation of ESY.net (National health BI system), member of the Greek DRGs Implementation Team and member of the Central Committee of the Ministry to monitor the IT systems of the NHS. Ο Σταύρος Ασθενίδης είναι ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της «Κοινωνία της Πληροφορίας», του βασικού υλοποιητή έργων ψηφιακού μετασχηματισμού για τον ευρύτερο δημόσιο τομέα, του Υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης.

Είναι Ηλεκτρολόγος Μηχανικός Ε.Μ.Π. με πολυετή εμπειρία στην ανάλυση, σχεδιασμό και υλοποίηση έργων πληροφορικής και κάτοχος Master στην Δημόσια Πολιτική και Διοίκηση από το Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.

Στην επαγγελματική του πορεία, έχει διατελέσει σύμβουλος του Ειδικού Γραμματέα Ψηφιακού Σχεδιασμού, του Ειδικού Γραμματέα ΣΔΙΤ & του Γενικού Γραμματέα του Δήμου Αθηναίων. Επί σειρά ετών έχει συνεργαστεί από θέσεις ευθύνης με φορείς όπως ο ΕΦΕΠΑΕ, η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων ΑΘΗΝΑ 2004 και έχει διατελέσει Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Αναπτυξιακής Εταιρείας Μηχανογράφησης και Επιχειρησιακών Μονάδων ΟΤΑ (ΔΑΕΜ Α.Ε.) του Δήμου Αθηναίων.

Από το 2019 κατέχει τη θέση του Διευθύνοντος Συμβούλου στην Κοινωνία της Πληροφορίας ΑΕ (ΚτΠ).

Stavros Asthenidis is the Chief Executive Officer to the “Information Society SA”, the trusted government agency operating under the Ministry of Digital Governance, responsible for procuring and coordinating all the major ICT tenders for projects and actions that transform the Greek public administration and lead it to the new digital
era.

He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Μaster in “Public Policy and Public Management” from the Graduate Program of Athens University of Economics and Business.

Throughout his career, he held positions of responsibility, managing, and overseeing major ICT projects. He served for several years as head of state aid schemes at Intermediate Management Agencies (Elanet, EFEPAE) during the 2nd and 3rd CSF.

He was the Telecommunication Networks Project Manager (during the preparation) and the Telecommunications Manager at the Technology Control Center during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, as a member of the Organizing Committee.

He has worked for the “Information Society SA” as a Project Officer in Intelligent Transport Systems, Digital Culture, Digital Health and Energy Saving Systems, for Cramoni Trading Ltd (Cyprus), as a Program Manager responsible for telecommunications projects in the international economic environment, for Egnatia Odos SA, ICAP Business Consultants and the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness as a senior consultant of Technology and Project Management.

He has cooperated with the Special Secretary for Digital Planning at the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness and Shipping for eGovernment projects and the Special Secretary for Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the Ministry of Development, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks.

From April 2017 till July 2019, he served as the Chief Executive Officer to the City of Athens IT Company, DAEM SA.

Νικόλαος Λαμπρογεώργος, Client Executive, Δημόσιος Τομέας, Ελλάδα Διευθυντής, Διεθνές Κέντρο Ψηφιακού Μετασχηματισμού και Δεξιοτήτων (DT&S)

Ο Νικόλαος Λαμπρογεώργος, γεννήθηκε τον Ιανουάριο του 1969. Είναι Μηχανικός Πληφορικής και έχει λάβει πτυχίο Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (1990) και Master of Science (M.Sc.) (1993), στην Επιστήμη Υπολογιστών, από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κρήτης.

Τον Νοέμβριο του 1999, ο κ. Λαμπρογεώργος αποδέχτηκε τη θέση του Μηχανικού
Συστημάτων (Systems Engineer) στη Cisco Systems Hellas S.A., ως υπεύθυνος για την υποστήριξη πωλήσεων σε πελάτες και συνεργάτες της Cisco, τον σχεδιασμό λύσεων δικτύων, την παροχή ενημερώσεων σε νέες τεχνολογίες και προϊόντα και τη δημοσίευση άρθρων σχετικά με την Τεχνολογία Δικτύων. Τον Οκτώβριο του 2002, μετακόμισε στο Τμήμα Πωλήσεων της Cisco Systems, ως Account Manager, με αποστολή την υποστήριξη μεγάλων πελατών. Τον Απρίλιο του 2015 ανέλαβε την ευθύνη πωλήσεων στο Δημόσιο Τομέα της Κύπρου και τον Δεκέμβριο του ίδιου έτους προήχθη σε Senior Account Manager. Από τον Ιούνιο του 2020 είναι Διευθυντής του Κέντρου Ψηφιακού Μετασχηματισμού και Δεξιοτήτων στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Τον Αύγουστο του 2021 προήχθη σε Client Executive, υπεύθυνος για την ομάδα του Δημόσιου Τομέα της Cisco Greece, αναλαμβάνοντας και την ευθύνη υλοποίησης και υποστήριξης του προγράμματος Επιτάχυνσης του Ψηφιακού Μετασχηματισμού (Country Digital Accelaration – CDA) για την Ελλάδα.

Ο κ. Λαμπρογεώργος, έχει εργαστεί με επιτυχία σε σημαντικά έργα Δικτύων, στο
σχεδιασμό και ανάπτυξη, όπως τα Sizefxis, Sizefxis II, TAXISnet, NetVIS του
Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών, έργα στον τομέα της Υγείας (ΕΚΕΠΥ, Έξυπνα νοσοκομεία Παπαγεωργίου και Σύρου, στο έργο της Τηλεϊατρικής της 2ης Υγειονομικής Περιφέρειας και της επέκτασής του για όλη την Ελλάδα κ.λπ.), σε έργα της Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης Έξυπνων πόλεων, στον χώρο της Εκπαίδευσης (Πανεπιστήμια), καθώς και στο Δίκτυο Δεδομένων των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων Αθήνα 2004, στον Διεθνή Αερολιμένα Αθηνών, στη Fraport, για επιχειρήσεις κοινής ωφέλειας (ΔΕΗ, ΑΔΜΗΕ, ΔΕΣΦΑ, ΕΔΑ ΘΕΣΣ, ΕΥΔΑΠ) και πολλά άλλα.
Οι πρόσφατες προτεραιότητες του αφορούν στο Εθνικό Στρατηγικό Πλαίσιο Αναφοράς (ΕΣΠΑ 2021-2027) και τις πρωτοβουλίες για έργα του Ταμείου
Ανάκαμψης (Recovery and Resilience Facilities – RRF), στην προώθηση λύσεων της Cisco για το Δημόσιο Τομέα και Αρχές Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης, για Υπηρεσίες Κοινής Ωφέλειας, Μεταφορές και άλλα.

Τον Ιούνιο του 2020 η Cisco ίδρυσε το Διεθνές Κέντρο Ψηφιακού Μετασχηματισμού και Δεξιοτήτων στη Θεσσαλονίκη, υπό την επίβλεψη του, αναλαμβάνοντας τη θέση του Διευθυντή του κέντρου. Οι κύριες δραστηριότητες είναι ο Ψηφιακός Μετασχηματισμός, η Καινοτομία και η προώθηση Ψηφιακών Δεξιοτήτων, στην Ελλάδα, στα Βαλκάνια και στη Νοτιοανατολική Ευρώπη. Πριν από την Cisco Hellas είχε εργαστεί στην ΙΒΜ και στον Όμιλο Βασιλάκη, Technocar.

Nikos Lambrogeorgos, Client Executive, Public Sector, Greece Director, DT&S

Nikolaos Lambrogeorgos, was born in January 1969. He has received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (1990) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree (1993), in
Computer Science, from the University of Crete.

In November 1999, Mr. Lambrogeorgos accepted the Systems Engineer’s position at Cisco Systems Hellas S.A., being responsible for providing pre-sales support to Cisco customers and partners, designing network solutions, providing updates in new technologies and products and publishing articles related to Networking Technology. In October 2002, he moved to the Sales Department of Cisco Systems, as Account Manager, with the mandate of supporting large customers in Enterprise and Public sector. In April 2015 he took the responsibility to cover Cyprus Public Sector. In December 2015 he has promoted to Senior Account Manager. From June 2020 he is the Director of the Digital Transformation and Skills Center at Thessaloniki. In August 2021 he promoted to Client Executive, responsible for Cisco Greece Public Sector team, assuming responsibility for the implementation and support of the Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program for Greece.

Mr. Lambrogeorgos, has worked successfully on specific important Network
Architecture projects’ planning, design and development, like the Sizefxis, Sizefxis II, TAXISnet, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ NetVIS, Healthcare projects (EKEPY, Papageorgiou and Syros Smart Hospitals, 2nd Health Region Tele-medicine and the expansion on whole Greece etc), Local government projects – Smart Cities, at
Education area (Universities), as well as the Data Network of the Athens 2004, the
Athens International Airport, for Fraport, for Utilities (DEH, ADMIE, DESFA, EDA
Thess, EYDAP) and many more.

His latest focusing relates to the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF
2021-2027) and Recovery and Resilience Facilities (RRF) initiatives, promoting Cisco solutions for Public sector and Local government authorities, for Utilities and
Transportation etc.

In June 2020 Cisco established the Digital Transformation and Skills Center at
Thessaloniki under Nikos’ supervision, taking the position as Director of the center.
Main activities are Digital Transformation, Innovation and promoting Digital Skills to SouthEastern Europe.

Before Cisco he has worked in IBM and in Vassilakis group (Technocar).
Δρ. Ιωάννης Μερτζάνης, Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος, Space Hellas

Ο Δρ. Μερτζάνης, είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και
Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου και κάτοχος MSc και PhD από το Πανεπιστήμιο Surrey της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Έχει

He has extensive professional experience in Telecommunications and IT having worked in Greece and abroad. In 1999 he joined the workforce of Space Hellas, he has held senior executive positions within the Space Hellas group for many years having the responsibility of the commercial, technical and business development activities. Αλέξης Φουρλής, Head of Product, Vidavo

O κ. Αλέξιος Φουρλής, είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών, του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, με εξειδίκευση στην μικροηλεκτρονική και τα ενσωματωμένα συστήματα. Τα τελευταία 8 χρόνια έχει ασχοληθεί με την σχεδίαση και ανάπτυξη προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών τηλεϊατρικής και έξυπνων πόλεων. Συγκεκριμένα έχει ασχοληθεί με τα πρωτόκολλα LORAWAN, NB-IoT και Bluetooth Low Energy για εφαρμογές έξυπνων πόλεων και εφαρμογές τηλεϊατρικής (wearable αυτοδιαχείρισης άσθματος, wearable ανίχνευσης έξαρσης αλλεργικών συμπτωμάτων, wearable διαλογής και προτεραιοποίησης ασθενών) εκμεταλλευόμενος τεχνολογίες βαθιάς μηχανικής μάθησης (edge computing). Alexis Fourlis, Head of Product, Vidavo

Alexios Fourlis is a graduate of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia, specializing in microelectronics and embedded systems. Over the past 8 years, he has focused on the design and development of telemedicine and smart city products and services. He has particularly worked with LORAWAN, NB-IoT, and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols for smart city and telemedicine applications, such as asthma self-management wearables, allergic rhinitis symptoms detection wearables, and patient triage and prioritization wearables, utilizing deep learning technologies enhanced by edge computing. Currently,works as Head of Product at Vidavo, where he designs company’s product roadmap based on user and market behavior analysis.

 

 
Παναγιώτης Μπαμίδης, Καθηγητής ιατρικής ΑΠΘ, Διευθυντής Εργ. Ιατρικής Φυσικής και Ψηφιακής Καινοτομίας

Ο Παναγιώτης Μπαμίδης είναι Καθηγητής Ιατρικής Φυσικής, και Πληροφορικής στην Ιατρική Εκπαίδευση και Διευθυντής του Εργαστηρίου Ιατρικής Φυσικής και Ψηφιακής Καινοτομίας στο Τμήμα Ιατρικής του Α.Π.Θ. και επιστημονικά υπεύθυνος της Μονάδας Καινοτομίας και Έρευνας στην Ιατρική Εκπαίδευση της ΕΜΒΙΕΕ. Από τον Οκτώβριο 2023 είναι Διευθυντής του Διατμηματικού Μεταπτυχιακού Προγράμματος Σπουδών στη Βιοϊατρική Τεχνολογία. Σχεδιάζει, υλοποιεί και αξιολογεί τεχνολογικά και πληροφορικά συστήματα που στόχο έχουν να εξυπηρετήσουν την καθημερινότητα ευπαθών ομάδων και να βελτιώσουν την υγεία και την ποιότητα ζωής τους ή να αναβαθμίσουν την εκπαίδευση επαγγελματιών υγείας. Έχει την επιστημονική ευθύνη πολλών ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων και το συντονισμό αρκετών εξ αυτών σε πανευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Μεταξύ 2017-2021 ήταν επισκέπτης καθηγητής στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λιντς στην Αγγλία, ενώ διατελεί Πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Βιοϊατρικής Τεχνολογίας, της HL7 Hellas και της Διεθνούς Ένωσης Εφαρμοσμένων Νευροεπιστημών, επιστημονικός σύμβουλος συλλόγων ασθενών, νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων τεχνολογικής καινοτομίας στην Ελλάδα και στη Γαλλία. Το 2020 ίδρυσε την εταιρεία CAPTAIN-COACH που αποτελεί μία από τις 10 πρώτες εταιρείες τεχνοβλαστούς του ΑΠΘ. Είναι αρχισυντάκτης του περιοδικού Health Informatics Journal. Panagiotis D. Bamidis, Professor, Director, Lab of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

Panagiotis Bamidis is a Professor of Medical Physics, Informatics and Medical Education and Director of the Lab of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation in the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He designs, implements, and evaluates IT and Assistive Technologies systems that improve everyday activities of elderly or other vulnerable groups and improves their health or life quality or improves the education and training of health professionals. He conducts research that attempts to understand how the brain reacts to different stimuli, technological or educational interventions, as well as, the development and evolution of human emotions and sleep transitions. He is the co-ordinator of ten large European projects, and the principal investigator for many national and international funded projects. He is the President of the Hellenic Biomedical Technology Society (ELEBIT), HL7 Hellas, the international Society of Applied Neuroscience (SAN), a member of the Administration Boards of other societies and patient associations. He is/has been the Chairman/Organiser of some 20 international conferences and several national Biomedical Technology conferences. In 2017, he became a visiting Professor of Medical Education Technology, Innovation and Change for the Leeds Institute of Medical Education (LIME) of the University of Leeds, UK. Since 2020, he leads the Medical Education Innovation & Research Unit (MEIRU) of the Special Unit for Biomedical Research and Education (BRESU) of the School of Medicine. He has founded a Living Lab and 2 spin-offs.

Ο Αλέξανδρος Μπρέγιαννης είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Nova ICT και Group Public Sector & ICT Advisor για τον όμιλο της United Group.

Στο χώρο των τηλεπικοινωνιών και της πληροφορικής έχει ηγηθεί με επιτυχία σε σημαντικές θέσεις ευθύνης πολυεθνικών εταιρειών, όπου διαχειρίστηκε μια σειρά από τα μεγαλύτερα έργα ΙCT της χώρας.  Διετέλεσε Public Sector & ICT Executive Director της NOVA, αναπτύσσοντας τον τομέα του ICT και τα έργα τεχνολογίας.

Είναι απόφοιτος του τμήματος Φυσικής, του Πανεπιστήμιου Πατρών, κάτοχος Μεταπτυχιακής Ειδίκευσης (ΜSc) στην Ιατρική Φυσική, καθώς και Μεταπτυχιακού Τίτλου Σπουδών στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων (MBA) από το Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Έχει γεννηθεί στην Αθήνα, είναι παντρεμένος και έχει δύο κόρες.

Alexandros Bregiannis is CEO of Nova ICT and Group Public Sector & ICT Advisor for United Group.

In the field of telecommunications and IT, he has successfully led important positions of responsibility in multinational companies, where he managed a number of the country’s largest ICT projects.  He was NOVA’s Public Sector & ICT Executive Director, developing the ICT sector and technology projects.

He is a graduate of the Department of Physics, University of Patras, holder of a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Medical Physics, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He was born in Athens, is married and has two daughters.
